On November 20, 2013 you participated in the school science fair. Answer the following questions based on your participation in the science fair.
1) If you could judge yourself, how do you think you did? (how would you grade yourself on a scale of 0-100)
2) What would you do differently if you could do science fair over?
3) If you are in 10th or 11th grade: What will you do next year so that your science fair project is more successful?
Welcome to Science Fair 2013/2014! We will be using this blog during the year to discuss our science fair projects. This blog will count as a homework grade each week for class. A new blog will be posted every monday for you to answer. You must answer the main questions(s) and reply to one students post every week. You will have until 10pm on Sunday each week to complete your blog assignment. I am so excited about this school year and I can't wait to read your posts.
I would probably give myself a 80, I would have maybe pick a different topic, I will actually do more expeiremental tasks in my project.

ReplyDelete2) If would do science fair over I would probably research my topic more in depth and choose a topic that s interesting for me.
3) For next year I will research my topic thoroughly so tat it is more successful.
I would give me an my group a 79 because we were missing the most important part from the project. If I could do this project all over again I would gather all of the things I know we are going to need instead of getting them right before the project is due. I would search more interesting things that I can actually experiment an succeed so that I can do a good job the project.
ReplyDeleteI would give myself a 95% (or in the 90s) because I new the work I was presenting. But what I would change is that I would put my abstract and conclusion on my trifold. For my project to be successful I would start early and chose a more complex subject.
ReplyDelete1) On a 0-100 scale I would give myself a 90 because my partner and I had everything done on time and I think had most of the important stuff on the display board.

3) Next year I will focus more on my project and begin earlier on it especially if it involves human test subjects again.
1)Although my board and notebook was in order when i presented i kept couging and sneezing uncontrollably. On a scale of 0-100 i would award myself a 97 becasue of my coughing fit. I wondered if the judges thought i was sick or nervous.

3) Next year i would like to enter science fair again and i would possibly pick the same topic or somethig similar so i can be comfortable with it.

if i could judge myself i would give myself a 89 . I feel that the project was lacking in imagery or visuals of the experiment and was only raw data. if i could do sci fair over i would have liked to include primary sources and more samples from our experiment.

If I could judge myself I would give our group between a 80-90, I know that we could of done more. If I could do science fair over I would of done more trials and would have included some pictures on the board.
